Amazon.com

Things are starting to pick up faster now!  Amazon.com now has the book in stock and ready to ship, with Free shipping and Free Prime shipping, and have a new price of $14.69.

Second Wind is also now up and running, in stock with Free shipping, on Barnes and Nobles website as well!

easiest search terms to find the book on either site (or anywhere else) are just "second wind levi"

The e-book for distribution (Kindle store, nook store, sony store, apple store) has been pushed back a little bit again, but I'm still hoping for a full launch by the end of January.

Second Wind on Amazon and Barnes and Noble

This morning Second Wind went up on Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com.
At both places it is on their Free Shipping programs!

They just got them listed so the keywords aren't loaded yet, there's no book cover artwork or book description loaded onto the B&N server yet (so reads "no image available"), but Amazon does have the cover artwork and book description.  Also, Amazon does state that the book isn't actually in stock yet but you Can pre-order it from them now.  B&N says it's ready to go and "usually ships within 24 hours".

Check it out!

Vibram Fivefingers

so, admittedly, I'm holding off on blogging an incredible amount on anything other then the book release until the book becomes available to the major retailers and officially launches (instead of just being on the publisher's book store available to those that I tell about it).  With that said, I do get an overwhelming number of questions (which I LOVE getting questions) about the VFFs, or Vibram FiveFingers.

I'm sure I will have a lot of posts addressing VFFs, including my opinion on them, what they "do", how to start running in them, why you should run in them, reviews on the different models, etc.  I will start by saying this (which for those of you who know me - this goes without saying):  I do run in fivefingers.  I've been wearing fivefingers almost exclusively for over a year now and do run exclusively in them.  That being said, there's a lot to learn about them, a lot of important information about why and how to run in them (especially when first starting out), etc.

More on that to come later....

Results so far:

The official release is approaching and the publisher was kind enough to give me some feedback from their storefront (for friends, family, word of mouth):
in the Sports and Recreation category Second Wind is ranked 13th
and in the Health and fitness category Second Wind is ranked 11th!

Thank you all so much for your continued support

Second Wind is LIVE and up for sale!

Just an hour ago Second Wind: the running coach you never had but always needed went live on WordClay and is now available to purchase as a print book!

*again, Second Wind should be available in print on amazon.com, barnesandnoble.com, booksamillion.com, target.com, walmart.com, and more in about a month ("15-60 days" depending on the site..)

Likewise, it will be available in the Kindle store, Nook store, and Sony e-reader store in about the same time frame.  Until then, if you would prefer owning Second Wind as an e-book, it is available in ALL formats currently at SmashWords
